REAGAN MCKENZIE
Reagan McKenzie is a barrister specialising in family law, based in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland. She accepts instructions from clients nationwide.
Reagan acts for clients in matters involving care of children, guardianship disputes, relationship property (both contracting out agreements to protect assets, and separation), family violence, Oranga Tamariki (including permanency), dissolution of marriage, and paternity matters.

Skilled as both a negotiator to settle matters without the need for litigation, and as an experienced advocate in court, she works with her clients to achieve the best outcome for all involved.
Reagan has practised family law since her admission in 2018, in Hawkes Bay, Sydney and Auckland, acting for both private and legally aided clients. She is a member of the New Zealand Law Society, the Family Law Section, and the New Zealand Bar Association.
Since October 2023 Reagan has been appointed to the New Zealand Law Society Access to Justice Law Reform Committee, reflecting a deep commitment to ensuring access to justice for all.
Reagan joined the independent bar as a barrister in December 2025, and accepts both private and legal aid instructions.
